StRaNgE CraViNgS

I've always loved deviled eggs, but there were a couple weeks where I loved them more than ever! One afternoon I created these little huevos. Thank goodness this craving didn't last long, because they make my kitchen stink!

Peaches! Peach sorbet. Peach tea. Peach milkshakes. Anything with peaches.

The most consistent craving throughout this pregnancy has been PANCAKES! Thank you Terri for these blueberry beauties!

22 Weeks - Spaghetti Squash

Baby now weighs 1 pound, even though mama has gained a few more than that! Everyone is healthy and happy and anxiously awaiting the babymoon! We'll be spending the first week of September on Martha's Vineyard. We picked up a little hat for baby...not for the babymoon but for next summer :-)

No pink tutus in our house. It's a BOY!

At our appointment to find out the sex, the technician only told Jeff the fun news so he could share the surprise with me. Since I got to give him the "we're pregnant!" surprise, it was his turn! We went for cupcakes (surprise, surprise) after the appointment (at 10am) and he was going to put either a blueberry cupcake (boy) or a strawberry one (girl) in a box. The picture is a little blurry but you can get the idea of how shocked I was to see the little blueberry on top. Both Jeff and I were so sure (as well as many friends and family) that it was a girl! I guess we were all wrong! Lets just hope the ultrasound technician wasn't...

Mud and Laundry Room

Welcome to our mud and laundry room! We wanted an area to drop our stuff (bags, coats, etc.) when we walked into the house so there's a mud room off the garage. I envision diaper bags and little backpacks hanging here one day! This is the only shiplap that we put in the house, but we hope to add more one day if we can decide on which wall to put it. There is a blog called "House of Turquoise" that has GREAT shiplap ideas.

The back door off the laundry room is also a huge bonus. If we come in dirty from working in the yard, we don't have to bring the dirt into the rest of the house. We also thought the door was a good idea in case we put a pool in one day!
